Unlocking sustainable investments for farming and the environment

ABOUT US

Aqualate is more than just a family farm; it's a testament to our deep-rooted commitment to conservation and the preservation of nature.

Nestled within our landscape is Aqualate Mere, a site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a RAMSAR-designated nature reserve, a jewel in the crown of natural habitats. This precious ecosystem shapes our farming practices, inspiring us to work in harmony with nature.

We are dedicated to enhancing and safeguarding this unique natural asset, ensuring that our farming methods contribute positively to the surrounding environment.

OUR OFFERING

At the heart of our vision lies a deep-rooted ambition to channel private investment into the rural economy, bolstering the farming community as we embrace more ecologically focused farming practices. As we stand at the cusp of this transition, the diversification of income sources emerges as a pivotal strategy for farm operations. Despite the promise of natural capital markets as a beacon for farm diversification,  they remain shrouded in complexity, regulatory ambiguity, and untapped potential. As such, the tangible benefits have yet to reach the grassroots level, leaving farmers in search of innovative ways to align their operations with the shifting environmental paradigm.

As farmers ourselves, and as keen advocates of our local farmer cluster group, we are uniquely positioned to bridge this gap. We collaborate closely with corporates, government bodies, NGOs, and the wider farming community to demystify these emerging markets. Our mission is to illuminate the path forward, enabling farmers to unlock new opportunities that resonate with the global environmental goals, such as the ambitious 30x30 initiative aimed at conserving 30% of the earth's land and oceans by 2030.

Through our collective efforts, we aspire to not only support our fellow farmers in navigating this transition but also to contribute meaningfully to the global movement towards environmental custodianship.

Join us in this journey toward innovation, sustainability, and a brighter, greener future for our planet.
